Power On Settings

Top  Previous  Next

NetGong supports Wake-on-LAN technology that allows you to power on a computer remotely.

To configure the power on settings, do the following:

1.Click the Options button.

2.Select the General tab and set any of the options you want to use:

Port

Specifies the power on port number. Port 9 is the default, but you can use any port number. Consider that most Wake-on-LAN services will use either UDP port 7 or 9.

SecureOn

When this option is checked, NetGong requires you to provide password before sending the power on request.

Note:

Only some network adapters support SecureOn password feature.

3.Click the OK button to complete the configuration.
