It includes "Decrease on failure" feature, improved Event logging, improved Remote access, improved E-mail alert, and a few other minor improvements and bug fixes. When the "Decrease on failure" is checked and a failure has been detected, NetGong decreases the monitoring interval to 1 minute. The host will be monitored every minute until the problem is fixed.

Tsarfin Computing Ltd and ipMonitor Corporation have entered into an agreement on a worldwide basis, resulting in the assignment of Tsarfin Computing Ltd's complete rights in the IPMONITOR Name to ipMonitor Corporation worldwide. Tsarfin Computing Ltd has formally renamed its network monitoring software product to NetGong to reflect a new emphasis on event notification technology and to better match the company's product line.
